We have now completed the first stages of native screen planting in front of a new large housing development near Andover, planting 17,000 native tree whips in tree shelters as part of the road screening works. <\/span>We have also won the contract to plant the first phases of the development involving plot planting, public open spaces areas, sport pitches and communal areas. <\/span>The site should run for several years and will have thousands of tree planted on its boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

This April we have taken over the landscaping of a major site in Maidstone, Kent for Redrow Homes which involves plot planting, open space landscaping and verges around the site. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A<\/span>s a company, we are proud to announce that between November 2010 and April 2011 (bare-root planting season) we have planted over 300,000 tree whips on various projects. <\/span>This proves that new developments can play an active role in conservation by increasing tree stocks and providing natural habitats for our wild-life in the future. <\/span>Since Millstone Landscapes started trading in 1992, we have planted around 2 million trees over the southern counties.<\/p>\n
